Booking & pricing

What does the price include?

One bike, collected from your door, delivered to the event and brought back to your door afterwards. One bag of kit travels with it at no extra charge, and the bike is insured for the whole trip in both directions. The price shown on each event is the total - there's nothing added at checkout unless you choose extras.

How do I book?

Pick your race on the events page, fill in your details and pay by card. You'll get a booking reference and a confirmation email straight away, and we'll message you on WhatsApp nearer the time to sort collection.

Can I book more than one bike?

Each bike needs its own booking so it has its own reference, declaration and insurance. If you're bringing a few - a club trip, or a household - book each one and use the same collection address, and we'll pick them all up together.

Can our club or group book together?

Yes. Everyone books their own place so the paperwork stays straight, but tell us in the notes that you're a group and we'll collect from one address and rack you together. For larger groups, get in touch first so we can hold enough places.

When does booking close?

Every event has a booking deadline shown on its listing. That's the last day to book, and it's also the refund cut-off. Places are limited per van, so popular races do sell out before the deadline.

The event I want isn't listed, or it's sold out.

Events go up as we confirm them, with a "Register interest" button before booking opens - leave your email and you'll hear first. Sold-out events have a waiting list, and places go in the order people joined. If your race isn't on the list at all, tell us which one - we plan the season around demand.

What is the refund policy?

Please refer to section 6, Cancellation & Refund Policy, located in the Terms and Conditions.

Collection & delivery

Where do you collect from?

Your home address, anywhere in mainland UK. We plan a route around everyone booked on the event, so we come to you.

When will you collect my bike?

Usually in the week before the event. Once the route is set we'll message you on WhatsApp to agree a collection window, and again when we're on our way.

Do I need to be there for collection?

Yes - we hand the bike over in person, check it together and confirm what's in the kit bag. If you can't be there, someone else can hand it over on your behalf as long as they know what's being sent.

Do I need to take my bike apart or box it?

No. Your bike travels fully assembled - no bike box, no dismantling. We take the front wheel off to hang the bike in the van and refit it at the venue.

How is my bike secured in the van?

Bikes hang individually by the fork in a 3.5-tonne van fitted out for exactly this. Nothing is stacked, nothing rubs, and we don't carry anything else alongside them.

Where and when do I collect it at the event?

We hand your bike back to you at the venue, assembled and ready, with time to spare before bike racking closes. We'll confirm the exact spot and time on WhatsApp once the organiser publishes the event schedule.

How does my bike get home?

Hand it back to us at the venue after your race and we bring it back to your door, normally within the week after the event. Same van, same care, same person.

Kit, extras & bike prep

What can go in the kit bag?

One bag of race kit per bike is included - wetsuit, helmet, bike shoes and run shoes are the usual contents, and you list what's in it on your bike details form. Keep it to what you need for the race; it's not a suitcase.

Can I send spare race wheels?

Yes. Spare wheels can be added as an extra when you book, or later from your booking page, and are declared on your bike details form so they're covered too.

How should I prepare the bike?

Clean, in working order and stripped of anything loose: take off bottles, bike computers, lights and bags, and let the tyre pressure down a touch if you're running very high. Note any existing marks on your bike details form so there's no confusion at handover.

Can you take a TT bike, a tandem or a fat bike?

TT and tri bikes are what we carry most. Anything unusually long, wide or heavy - tandems, fat bikes, e-bikes with the battery fitted - please check with us before booking so we can confirm it fits the racking.

Paperwork & travelling abroad

What is the bike details form?

After booking you'll fill in a short form about the bike - make, model, weight, colour, frame number, value and what's in the kit bag. It's the basis of your insurance cover and, for events outside the UK, it doubles as the customs declaration so your bike crosses the border without a hitch.

When do I need to submit it?

As soon as you can after booking. It locks 4 weeks before the event so we can finalise the paperwork - you can edit it any time up to then from your booking page.

Where do I find the frame number and country of origin?

The frame number is usually stamped or stickered under the bottom bracket, on the head tube or on a rear dropout. Country of origin is normally on a small sticker in the same area. If you're stuck, pick your brand on the form and we'll set the country for you.

Do you cover events in Europe?

Yes - we run to selected European races via ferry, and they're listed on the events page alongside the UK ones. The customs paperwork is handled through your bike details form; you don't need to do anything else.

How do I weigh my bike?

You can either use some bathroom scales or a hand-held luggage scale. If you don't have either you can just Google the weight of the bike. This will give you a close enough measurement.

Insurance & your booking

Is my bike insured while you have it?

Yes. Every bike is covered in transit from the moment we collect it to the moment we hand it back, in both directions. Declare the bike honestly. Cover limits and any excess are set out in the terms.

What happens if something is damaged?

We check the bike with you at every handover. If there's a problem, tell us there and then and we'll photograph it together and take it from there - that's what the insurance is for.

How do I change my details or cancel?

Use Manage My Booking with your reference and email. You can update your address and phone, edit your bike details, add extras, and request a change or cancellation. Refunds are automatic up to the booking deadline.

I've lost my booking reference.

It's in your confirmation email, subject line included. If that's gone too, message us with the name and email you booked with and we'll resend it.

Still got a question?

We're riders too - message us and we'll talk it through.
